MADF IS AWARDING UP TO 10 SCHOLARSHIPS


The MADF believes that education is the greatest equalizer. We make a difference in education by providing scholarships to individuals who are furthering their education. We also partner with schools, non-profits, churches, and other programs by making financial contributions to their educational programs.

Individual students selected by The MADF Scholarship Selection Committee will be awarded $1,500 scholarship to apply towards college educational expenses.  Past scholarship awardees can apply annually up to a maximum of 4 years.

Eligibility & Criteria

·   Scholarship applicants must be a US citizen.
·    Must demonstrate a financial need.
·   Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college, school or unversity.
·   Award must be used for educational expenses that include cost of tuition, books, supplies, room and/or board.
·     Employees including Board Members and their immediate family are not eligible.

Application Process

Applicant must submit: 
1.    A completed application form,
2.    An essay (topics and format described below),
3.    A current headshot photo,
4.    Official grade transcript, and
5.    A financial aid award letter

Applications submitted, will receive notification acknowledging receipt of your application via email.

DEADLINE EXTENDED for scholarship applications to May 6, 2016.  Incomplete applications and/or support documents will not be considered.
 
Essay Topics:
Each applicant must write an Essay that addresses one or more of the following:
1)    The importance of scholastic achievement.
2)    Reason for their financial need. If you have any questions, please email info@themadfseattle.org
